Join Enterprise Florida's Business Development Mission to Kenya and Rwanda

 April 28 – May 8, 2011
Enterprise Florida is pleased to invite Florida companies and economic developers to join us on our Business Development Mission to East Africa, Nairobi, Kenya and Kigali, Rwanda, April 28 – May 8, 2011. The East African Community (EAC) has a combined population of over 125 million people and when combined with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) the market is over 550 million with total trade of USD 309 billion and combined GDP of USD 360 billion.

In August 2010, 120 Kenyan companies visited Florida seeking to source a number of products and services including, agricultural and construction equipment, medical supplies, auto parts, cosmetics and training programs. In addition there are immediate opportunities in energy, mining, ITC and tourism.
As an important part of Enterprise Florida’s efforts to introduce business opportunities and increase market share in the developing economies in Africa, Mission participants will receive detailed in-country briefings on the business climate and security situation in each country, attend networking events with both the public and private sectors, have pre-arranged one on one business meetings with prospective clients/partners and benefit from reduced rates for airfare and hotel accommodations.

Space is limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait!

Registration deadline: March 30, 2011 For more information please contact:
