Enterprise Florida wins President's "E Star" Award for Export Service

Procurement Opportunities

On November 19, 2009, the Greater Miami Chamber will host liaisons from the U.S. Department of Commerce to the United Nations, the Inter-American Development Bank and The World Bank Group as part of the Chamber's Americas Linkage Conference.

Liaisons will discuss procurement processes and opportunities with major multilateral development organizations. Millions of dollars in procurement opportunities are available each year from these organizations to businesses regardless of their size. The half-day conference will include a session with the Export-Import Bank and the Small Business Administration who will discuss how to finance your exports.

After the conference, the Chamber will host the 3rd Annual International Business Leadership Awards Luncheon honoring outstanding international businesses and specially recognizing Dr. Tony Villamil, Dean School of Business, St. Thomas University. The ceremony will be emceed by Teresa Rodriguez, nationally renowed broadcast journalist from Univision. Cost to attend the conference starts at $60. All events will take place at Jungle Island (1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Treetop Ballroom)
