Take part in the Department of Commerce's multisector Trade Mission to India and Sri Lanka



To help U.S. companies clinch business deals in these markets, the U.S. Department of Commerce is organizing the “3C Trade Mission” to Chennai, Cochin (India) and Colombo (Sri Lanka) from February 3-8, 2013. This multi-sector trade mission will focus on opportunities in architecture, infrastructure, hospitality, environment, healthcare and IT. Participating companies will benefit from pre-screened one-on-one matchmaking meetings, briefings with government officials and successful companies, networking events and site visits. To hear tips from the experts on the mechanics of exporting to India and learn about specific business opportunities in South India and Sri Lanka, join the South Asia Webinar Series hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service. For the first webinar, “Business Opportunities in South India and Sri Lanka, “ which will be held on October 11 (10 am EST), U.S. Government officials from South India and Sri Lanka and successful U.S. companies will highlight the best prospects to sell to these booming regions with strong GDP growth. The subsequent event on October 31 (3 pm EST), “Top Ten Financial, Legal and Customs Tips to Export to India,” will feature experts from FedEx, City National Bank and Royse Law, who will each give their “Top Ten” list to help you succeed with your export transactions. The panelists will be available to answer your questions in both sessions. The fee is $75 for both sessions – there is no better way to get your complicated questions answered from the comfort of your desk!
