Why do Business with the World Bank?
In FY11, the World Bank provided $46.9 billion for 303 projects in developing countries worldwide. The Bank is currently involved in more than 1,800 projects in virtually every sector and developing country. Out of the top 25 countries to which Florida exports, more than half are developing nations where the World Bank has projects and procurement opportunities. The role of the PSLO is to be a resource for Florida companies on how to do business with the World Bank Group and successfully engage in business activities in emerging markets.
