To view Previous Trade Leads, please Click Here
What Are They?  Trade leads include foreign companies who are interested in making direct purchases from Florida companies, acting as a manufacturer's representative or agent/distributor, and joint ventures.  In support of EFI's Africa Trade Expansion Program, we also provide leads from African companies looking to sell their products or services to Florida and the U.S.

Where Do They Come From?  The majority of these leads are generated by our International Offices in 14 overseas markets.

How Can I Follow Up On These Leads?  If you wish to follow up on any of these leads, you can contact the foreign company directly with the information provided on the detailed report.  We ask that you also copy the International Office or Florida staff-person that submitted the lead.  Their information is also included in the report.  Please be sure to mention that you received this information from Enterprise Florida.

Florida distributors should be aware that they may be required to have the right to distribute products in a particular country before doing business there.  Please contact the person who submitted the lead if you have any questions.

Doing Business in the Dominican Republic: Nov 4, 2013

 Doing Business
 in the Dominican Republic
November 4, 2013
Miami, Florida

You’re invited to join Enterprise Florida and our trade partners as we host a Doing Business in the Dominican Republic Roadshow around the state of Florida. The Dominican Republic has become a significant partner in hemispheric affairs due to its role as the second largest economy in the Caribbean and its large bilateral trade with the United States. With a strategic geographic location, the Dominican Republic provides easy trade access among the markets of the United States, Caribbean and Latin America.
The guest speaker for this event is:
Isabella Cascarano, Senior Commercial Officer for the Caribbean Region U.S. Embassy, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
This roadshow is an excellent opportunity for companies to learn more about:
  • The economic, political and social environment of the country
  • The advantages of the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR)
  • How companies can participate in Enterprise Florida’s Team Florida Trade Mission to the DR
A limited number of one-on-one appointments are available after the briefing on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a one-on-one appointment please email Selma Fates at sfates@eflorida.com.
