Miami-Dade County
and Enterprise Florida invite Florida companies to join the Business
Development Mission to Nairobi, Kenya. Kenya is the most developed
economy in Eastern Africa and is also the economic, commercial, and
logistical gateway of the entire region. The United States is currently
working with the Eastern African Community (EAC) on a new regional
integration initiative, which will enhance the U.S.-EAC trade and
investment relationship. Ranking as one of the top 100 trade partners
for South Florida, there are several business opportunities for Florida

Would

Airbus and several of their key European Suppliers confirmed to
Enterprise Florida, at the recently concluded ILA Berlin Airshow, it is
essential that major Airbus Suppliers have U.S. operations closer to
the new Airbus facility to be built in Mobile, Alabama-this mission has
to be accomplished ASAP. We were also informed the quickest, most
efficient path in establishing the U.S. base is to partner with a
Florida firm having complimentary operations, products, services, etc.
This event is expected to bring together over 1,000 companies from all
over the world, including 500 current Tier 1 & 2 Airbus Suppliers.
AEROMART Toulouse is a matchmaking program strictly reserved for
aerospace and defense professionals. Airbus, ATR, Safran and Bombardier
to name only a few OEMs, will have hundreds of their supply chain
specialists available to attend one-on-one meetings.
BCI Aerospace
has agreed to modest discounts – participation fees & hotel - for
Florida companies. The hotel is 120 Euros and will be discounted
20%-30%, depending on the number of Florida participants.

Hospitalar is the
most important health fair in Brazil and Latin America. The show
features products ranging from the most sophisticated state-of-the-art
medical technology to disposables. Almost 90,000 professional visitors
and over 1,250 exhibitors are anticipated at this year’s show.
The
Market
Brazil is the largest economy in South America with the highest
potential in the healthcare market. Brazil has over 6,400 hospitals and
15,000 clinics and healthcare establishments. The Brazilian healthcare
market is over $125 billion. Imports account for approximately 25% of
the market, with the U.S. providing 50% of all imports. The medical
equipment market is over $6.0 billion.
The continued
expansion of the Brazilian private health care sector, particularly in
